Yet another San Angel Inn question: real Mexican?

I don't particularly like Tex-Mex, but love real Mexican food. In the US, the two places I have eaten real Mexican food have been Rosa Mexicana (in NYC and ATL) and Maya (in NYC - I used to live 5 blocks away and this place was my fave!). Granted, SAI is WDW, so i don't expect the same quality, but does anyone know if it is the same type of food? The menu looks promising and it looks like they are trying to clean out some of the old complaints, so that's why I made the ADR, but the question is how is the food?

The food is great. We love it.

WDW actually brings in people from each country to work in the pavilions, so it is authentic.

Loved the sirloin with black beans and plantains. Mmm, and the chicken mole, very good.

I enjoy it and the food is representative, although it's obviously been Epcot-ized for mass consumption.

I've got some authentic Mexican (not Tex Mex) near me and while at least one of those places is leaps and bounds ahead of the San Angel Inn, I wouldn't hesitate about eating there when I'm at WDW.

For being at disney it's pretty authentic. For instance there are no ground beef hard shell tacos on the menu. The food is good, not amazing but the atmosphere is fantastic.
