Yet another refillable mug question?

I know ther has been a lot of debate about thes mugs in the past, but I wanted some up to date information. We bought mugs at ASMo 2 years ago, and am unsure about taking them back next month. Anyone been recently got any advice?

The mugs are now officially only good for the length of your stay - the debates (hasn't happened on the UK boards ) are caused because some folk have taken their older mugs and been allowed to use them in spite of the new policy.

We just returned from 2 weeks at the WL. I took my old mugs that i got 2 years ago just to see what they said. I had to buy 1 more anyway for my sister so when i went to the till i asked the lady if they were still valid and she said once you've purchased one you can re-use them everytime you stay at the lodge. her exact words 'what a great investment huh!'
