Yet another question about the dining package...

Been looking around, and can't find the answer. How does the Dining Package work, when its time to pay. Do you have to say in advance that you are using it, do you have to tell your server, or is it just done automatically? I know that it will be on our resort ID so not sure how it works. Also we are already booked for our vacation in June, is it going to be a problem to add the dining package on to our vacation?

We booked in October and added the dining in November. . . as long as you don't wait til the VERY last minute, you can add. I think there's a cut-off of a couple days before the start of the trip, but it won't be a problem to add it.

We mentioned to our servers before ordering that we were on the dining plans. Sometimes they asked before we even had a chance. The server brings out the bill like any normal bill - just give them your card and they'll process it through the dining plan. If you ordered any extras that aren't on the plan, they'll do two separate bills so that one will be the dining plan and one bill for all the extras.
