Sorry to have to ask this, but I've done a search & can't seem to find my answer! I thought I remembered reading once that Fast Passes cannot be obtained until a certain time of day (9:00 I think). If this is true, then there's no need to rush to get one on EMH mornings, right? Just trying to plan my day & don't want to miss my first Fast Pass opportunity!

There's no need to RUSH to get them virtually any MORNING.

But SOMETIMES the FP distribution is open very early, sometimes not until later (much later) in the day.
There is no "rule" one way or the other.
Depends or the overall crowd level and/or the number of people lining up in stand-by.

Soarin' is the "hottest" FP right now, and I'm sure EE will be the "one to get" very soon.

As to whether you need to "rush" in the mornings... the FPs don't "run out" even on the hottest rides until a bit later (11am or 12n) in the day,and again only on the very HOTTEST attaction(s).

We did EPCOT last Saturday and rode Soarin first thing in the a.m. We walked over to The Land with CM's and everyone else at the start. But the line ups after 9:30 a.m. were looong. So if you can get into the park right away do the rides you want. The longest line was at Soarin (great ride). We did it twice (Fastpassed in the late afternoon). But don't wait too long because the machines do run out of passes and are closed down for the day.

Are you saying that sometimes the FP machines are not open at regular park opening?
