Yet another Pirate Cruise ? 2nd Thoughts

I am having second thoughts after reading these boards about the pirate adventure cruise we have scheduled for my 4 year old for our trip in two weeks. He will be by himself because his brother's not old enough yet. I am wondering if I should put it off until next year when we will be going back with a bunch of his cousins. He will be 5 then and they will be 7 and 8. He loves pirates and I think he would have a good time, might have a hard time seperating at first though, not to mention the fit his little brother will throw when he realizes he can't go. Anyway, what do you think?

My son did this last year when he just turned 5. He is an only child, but they pair you up with another child and he had a great time. He also tends to be on the shy side but loved it so much he wanted to do it again.

cwnhokie - I was in the same situation that you are; and I chose to wait until next year. It would have been DD4 sailing with DS3 left at the Dock. I just don't think we could have explained to our son that he is too young to go - so next year they both can go and me and DH will have some of our own time. This way everyone will be happy.
