Hello Everyone!
Top 10 things I am guilty of ....
1. Yes, I am new to the DIS boards or any boards for that matter (so forgive me if I do something idiotic – will learn as I go!)
2. Admittedly I have been lurking the pre and post trip reports
3. I am becoming a Disney addict!
4. I drive my family nuts with my obsession of wanting to go to Disney all the time!
5. I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) which comes in handy when planning trips!
6. I overplan and overpack!
7. I am sneakily converting my daughter to my love of Disney!
8. I love the image of dragonflies (yes I know they are bugs).
9. I am reading trip reports when I should be working!:rolleyes1
10. Last but not least I am visiting Disney through others posts until my finances catch up to my wants!:flower3:

Seriously, I am a Mom (Lisa) to 3 teenagers, the 2 oldest are boys (Tyler 18 & Kyle 15) and then there’s my little princess (Sarah 14) or otherwise known around here as the Drama Queen. I embarked on my first WDW trip when I was about 11 – the brain is a little fuzzy on this after 30 years! Unfortunately, it took me until late 2006 to go on my second Disney trip – I took my children to DL and was hooked from the 1st magical moment that I crossed the threshold! Here I was 40 and suddenly and without warning turned 5! This was my children’s first Disney experience and they loved it. I have since managed to go again earlier this year, however, just me and my DBF (Andre 40+). I barely got home and have been scheming and planning but not so secretly the next Disney vacation , this time to WDW.

I have enjoyed reading all the reports and the tips I got before I went to DL and they were amazing and time saving. I hope to be able to post my trip reports, as soon as I get the time to compile them together.

Everyone one on here sounds so nice and helpful – I look forward to no longer being a lurker!

Until next time, take care everyone and live life to the fullest!

Welcome to the boards! I too became a Disney addict late in life, just 5 short years ago after my first trip to the world! I had just turned 31 and like you regressed to the mind set of a 5 year old upon entering Main Street. In fact when we went to Toontown to FINALLY meet Mickey on our last day, I literally pushed my kids out of the way so I could get to him first! :scared1: Such a bad mom. :rotfl:

Anyway, welcome and good luck on that next trip!

You will enjoy being here. Pull up your chair close to the monitor and have fun

Uh oh, lock me up and send me to Disney prison 'cause I'm guilty of all those things, too! Well, all those except for #3. I've been a Disney fan since birth. ;) Welcome to DIS, Dragonfly*Tink! I'm a newbie, too, so I guess we have to be idiotic together! ^_^

:welcome:

Such an expensive addiction, isn't it!:rotfl:

And the people here are enablers...;)

Welcome to the boards!! Glad you've been enjoying it :D

Welcome Dragonfly*Tink to the DIS!

Guilty as charged!!!!

Welcome!!! :cheer2:

And know that you are NOT alone! There are tons here just like you (and me). I was never a huge fan until my first trip in 2006 (at the age of 36) and now I think about it all the time. I too retreated to back to the age of 5. It was something about first walking into MK and seeing the castle and main street and falling in love right then and there.

As for #6 - I am the queen princess: of overpacking!!!!!!!

Actually you can no longer look forward to not being a lurker because you are in fact no longer a lurker - Congrats.

hi mom! Im not a drama queen, only tigger! I had fun at DL and Andre acted like a 2 and a half year old while you were 3. Me and my 2 bros. (that are dumb) were older than you! Around the World anyone?:woohoo:
Do u think this is me? = :surfweb: LOLz!

I am still learning how to use these threads, so ....

Thank you all for the kind welcome. I too, I am ashamed to admit, I (gently) pushed my kids out of the way to meet Tigger!

I got "booed"! Thanks for that! I will attempt to "boo" others!
