I'm going on the Disney Cruise in Sept and spending a week after at DVC. Some family members from the cruise will also be staying the weekend with us. That makes a quick trip to the parks one day quite tempting. Even though I have several 10 day tickets for my family, I'm hesitant to share them with my guests for 1 day, but making them buy their own ticket seems kind of harsh at $70 for 1 day non-hopping, or $300-400 for a non-expiring ticket that they could reuse someday - if they ever go again and don't lose it. I'd happily share 1 day of my 10 with them for nothing, but I'd hate to have that lock the other 9 days to them forever.
MYW needs a guest option that lets you bring a guest to disney, without paying double or triple rates on that ticket. I could stock up on 10 day plus/hopper/non-expiring/guest tickets, and take different people each year on my DVC trip.
I'd happily pay a bit more for the ticket to know that we won't be denied entry at the turnstiles, or forced to buy single day tickets for a couple of guests and none of us get to park-hop.
