We just bought a Maclaren Quest for our May trip that we LOVE thanks to the advice on the boards. However, two questions actually: Does anyone know how in the world we remove the hood? And does anyone have any great bag ideas for using with the stroller? It's somewhat tipsy but we'll need to have something to hang on it that fits well..I'm sure we'll come up with something but if anyone has found "THE" bag for these strollers please share! My baggallini fits great in the basket for when I don't want to wear it, and holds a lot of DD's stuff but we'll still probably need something else.

Maclaren makes an organizer for the back of the stroller, that's what we use. It has two cup holders, a small pocket for cell & small camera and then a large mesh bag that holds our wipes, diapers & sunscreen. The nice thing about the Maclaren organizer is that it folds up with the stroller even with everything in it!

I have wrist/ankle weights with velcro wrapped around the front of mine (down by the footrest) that cured the tippyness of it :) I forget they are even there now, doesn't interfere with folding etc - I've had it for about 2 years like that now.

What a great idea. :cool2:

That is awesome. I will have to try that with ours.
We also have the MAC storage holder for the back. It has two cup holders and a mesh bag to put things in. It's made of a fabric material so it folds up with your stroller. The bottom storage area has to be cleared out when folding though unless it's just a few diapers or small blanket etc:)

I use a sling type backpack and hang it over the back.

I attached a mesh saddle bag by J.L. Childress to the side of my Mac Quest. It was a great place to stash stuff and didn't need to be emptied to fold the stroller. It sits down low on the stroller (and is perfectly sized for Mac's) so it doesn't tip the stroller -- it actually helps weight the stroller down.

Thanks everyone..those are some great ideas. I do have a bag similar to the Mac organizer on ours already, but the one the JL childress makes. I like it better. I'll have to investigate the weights-that sounds like it might be a great idea, but will add weight to the stroller for carrying around, so maybe not for Disney ::MickeyMo I love the side sling bag...I just added one into my on-line cart!
