Yet another FP+ question

Still a ways before I need to make my FP+ selections, but was just going through the logistics of it all and am wondering how our scenario will work.

There's three of us, DW, DD15 and myself, but my wife has some back issues so won't be going on a lot of the rides that my daughter and I will be. My plan was to either make the FP+ for all three of us the same and just let hers expire or just not make the FP+ selections for her for the rides she won't be going on.

This makes me wonder how the Fourth FP+ after three are used will work. Since the initial reports seem to show that while you might get lucky with some headliner options for 4th or more, we'll most likely using the extra FP+ for non-headliner rides that my wife will want to go on with us.

So if our plan was to FP+ the three mountains for instance, and we then wanted to get a FP+ for say Jungle Cruise, if we had never made any FP+ reservations for my wife, would the kiosks be alright with giving that FP+ to all three of us?

Or if I made the FP+ reservation for all three of us, would we then have to wait for her last one to expire before using the 4th FP+?

What about an Epcot day for example where she'll go on Soarin' but not on Mission Space: Orange? If she only has one FP+ reservation on her file and it gets used, would there be any conflict if we're getting our fourth of the day and she's only getting her second?

I know I'm probably over thinking this, but it's what I do! ;)

Hi

I have the same problem. What I was thinking of doing is booking the same fp+ for all 3 of us, then I will go up to the line with them scan my bracelet to activate it, then decided if I want to ride. If I don't I will just get out of line. This way we will all expire at the same time.

I won't go on anything by myself so I don't mind wasting a fp+. Either I ride with them or I don't do anything.

I will be interested to see what other people say.:goodvibes

FP+ is separate as to each person when it comes to completing use. When you order FP+ in advance, you must order three for each person (if you don't do three total for any person, the computer just adds until there are three) As to getting a fourth at kiosks, you need to use the three original FP+ but having the time for an FP+ expire without actual use counts as a use toward being able to get the fourth. Thus, you can get them for your wife and get her a fourth as long as the time for the first three have passed. If you get none for your wife in advance then she can get three at any time, even during day in park, either at the kiosks or by just going into MDE and setting them up, so you should be able to get her that "fourth" ride you want , one way or the other, but for her it could be one of the three.

I would get her own earlier FP to junk rides that you will NOT be doing.

She doesnt need to ride-- nor does she need to scan.
She WILL need to let the FP expire before any of you will be allowed to pick the 4th
