I plan on attending the 10:30 show. I want to arrive as the 1st show is ending. The halloween screams Fireworks start @ 9:25. So will people just keep thier seats for that show too?

Where is going to be the best viewing are for 2 adults and a stroller? I don't want to buy a preferred seat so How do I go about claiming a spot.

The 10:30 show is definitely easier to get into. If you are there right before the 1st show ends, you can start making your way into the crowd as soon as it's over.

Some people will stay and watch the fireworks, but don't worry, because they will leave as soon as the fireworks end. When they do, you should be able to get down to the area right by the water. Maybe not right in the middle, depending on the crowd, but even off to the side with no one if front of you is amazing!!!

Good luck!

When the first show ends, three things will begin to happen at the same time:
1 - people will start to leave the area
2 - people will be entering the area
3 - people will stay put to watch the fireworks

You actually want to arrive in the area before the first show ends. I suggest arriving mid-way through and hanging the New Orleans Square shops. When the show ends, 9:23pm, you come out and work your way towards where you want to sit while the above 3 things are also happening.

The fireworks will start at 9:25pm. Watch them as you are finding your spot. With the group you have described, I would suggest the seating area by the riverfront. Go dead center of the house on the island, in the roped off seating only area, back row. If you are in the back row, you will not have to collapse your stroller and you will be able to see fine as everyone must remain seated once the show starts.

This is not optimal viewing for fireworks (compared to Main Street), but it is the best way to view the fireworks, get a "good" spot for the 10:30pm show, and NOT deal with the flow of mass of people from Main Street to the riverfront.

Enjoy,
Dreams

Hi. We just did this. I wanted to watch the fireworks and then Fantasmic. My friend knew exactly what to do. After the fireworks we "herded" through the gates of Frontierland. It was shoulder to shoulder with people both coming and going. First my friend told me to stand behind the scaffolding that the lights are on. As she explained to me that they go up for the show and our view would not be blocked. Then she went to scout out another place she had seen, and motioned to me to go to where she was. It was dead center next to ropes that let people in to a special seating area. There is a planter in front so your view is not block by people and the roped off entrance to your side so that stays open and clear for viewing as well. This proved to be a great place. I'm so glad she knew about it. :tink:

I usually watch the fireworks from the main street train station, and then take the train to New Orleans square. There's a terracing in front of Cafe Orleans that is standing room only during the first show, but is used as a walkway right after. if you cut through that you can usually find a seat in the seating only section on rivers of america.
