Yet Another EMH Question

Well, we're still trying to figure out whether we're going to do EMH late hours on our next trip (we know we won't be doing morning - it's vacation and we should sleep in, right?).

Do you have to get a wristband while the park is still open or can you bus over to MK at 10:15pm (assuming park closes at 10) and be allowed into the park to get a band? I guess the idea is can we watch Illuminations at Epcot and then bus over to MK even if we don't have a wristband for EMH yet?

Has anybody gotten to a park late and been allowed entry without a band (and been allowed to get one once they've arrived)?

Yes, you can do exactly that.

Arriving after EMH has begun is allowed. However, it can be difficult to find where the wrist bands are being distributed once the mad rush is over. We wandered around AK for a good 30 minutes before we found a place to get the bands. CM's sent us to several different locations -- all wrong! It was pure luck that we found the CM with the bands since it was dark and no one else was getting them.
