Yet another email pin code question...

Has anyone ever received a pin code who had NOT previously stayed onsite, but had made PS (giving all pertinent info) with Disney Dining? We also get the Family Fun magazine and my kids are signed up for Toontown (I think that's Disney related-?). Just curious...we've always stayed offsite, but those dining package deals seem to be calling my name!

We have not stayed onsite either & just went for our first time last Nov. We are VISA members and made PS last year. I have been working on DH for another trip & that pin code sure makes it tempting!!!

We have only stayed off-site, but have made PS, subscribe to Family Fun, and always order the new planning video and give our dates of proposed next visit.

I got a pin last fall and we're using it in three weeks for POFQ, $94 water view, $89 standard.

We're very excited - it did make a difference in our plans, we wouldn't be staying on-site otherwise. Good luck!

Not only have I never stayed onsite, I have never been to the MK (one day at Epcot many years ago, no hotel stay associated with DIsney) and I got an email pin. The only place they would have gotten my name is from our online profile. I put when we were going, that we were staying off-site and MAKE SURE you click the box that you want to receive info from DIsney. I did this when I ordered the DVD about a month or so before they mailed to the pin codes. We are using it for our MYW package with dining for our upcoming trip in 22 days! Saved us about $1200 with meal savings and reduced room rate at AKL.

Thanks for posting everybody...I didn't think of ordering the planning DVD . Thanks for that tip! I haven't even checked with Disney to see if we have a code, because unfortunately we just got back and I don't know when I can convince DH to return...but I will follow these tips and hope for the best. DH and I have talked about taking a short trip without the kids (the guilt is abundant ) and a package may be perfect for us.

I've never stayed on site prior to this year either and i received an email pin code. I have ordered the vacation dvd's and i have a disney visa.

We did not stay onsite on our first family trip, but are registered with the Disney site. After having made our reservations for POR, I decided to call to see if we just happened to have a PIN code. We did!!! We ended up getting POR for $79 a night!
