Yet another Dining Plan Question

DH and I are going to DW in June, and we're thinking about getting the Dining Plan and we had a few questions. We're going for 7 days, do you have to get it for every day of your stay? Could we both use one plan and share meals? For example we would eat one Table Service meal and share the appetizer, entree and dessert, then just purchase an extra counter service meal for lunch and snacks as needed. Is that allowed? Has anyone tried this before? Did it save any money or was it a bigger pain than it was worth?

TIA!

As I understand the plan, all people staying in the room must get the plan, and it must be for the number of nights the hotel reservation is for. It would be so nice if you could just get it for some of the days, but I don't believe you can. It's also tricky if you have someone who's just staying with you for a few days, because I believe they would have to be on the plan for your entire hotel stay, even if they left.

The # of meals is tied to the # of nights. You can't leave out any days, and everyone in the room (or on the ressie) has to be on the same plan. You and your DH can share the adult meals on the dp though, we did with no problem, but not at buffet/all you can eat/character meals.
