Yet another All-Star movies question..

I am used to staying at the deluxe resorts like Beach Club and Animal Kingdom Lodge...

I was wondering if there is some services that are not offered at the All-Star Movie resort. Like the simple things... soaps shampoo and towels and all that stuff. Also is there any type of free gym that you can go to here??

Im lost!! HELP!

Well, they do provide towels, but not at the pool. They have soap and shampoo and bodywash in the bathrooms.

Nope, no gym at the All Stars.

Instead of room service, there is pizza delivery.
There are no sit-down type restaurants, just counter service.

No hot tubs, just the main pools.

That's all I can think of for now- hope that helps!

In the resort one of there counterplaces in a pizza place and you can order pizza from there up untill I believe 12am. and have it delivered to your room.

About those towels...if there are no towels at the pool, do you bring them from your room? Or are you supposed to pack them from home?

We grabbed some towels from the housekeeping cart. Lucky you for knowing this before hand, I was a bit angry when I got to the pool and there were no towels!

Also, the soap and shampoo in the bath are from liquid dispensers, they are not cute Minnie/Mickey wrapped soaps.

There is no inside lounge for enjoying beer or wine, you sit outside.

They have very cute, unique inside wall lights.

Although there is no Mickey soap in the shower (I really don't like the soap disoensers, but I just bring my own), there is some at the sink in the vanity area. Not quite the same, I'm sure, but better than nothing! We love All Star Movies and until we can afford to move up in the world, I'm glad it's an option!

When we were at Movies this summer we had mickey soap bars in our room. We also had the disp. in the shower, but i always bring our own soap and shampoo. They do have pizza del.to. Also if you ask the maids they will leave extra soap and towels for the pool. Have a GREAT time, wish we were going. Esp . to get away from the SNOW.

As allready mentioned the liquid soap and shampoo are from dispensers in the tub. The mickey boxed soap is in the vanity area. If you bathe instead of showering it is difficult to reach the soap dispenser from a sitting position. Mousekeeping will leave extra soap if requested, so you can take it with you in the tub. The pizza was the worst I've ever had. Hopefully it was just a bad one time thing, but I'm afraid to get it again. Mousekeeping is good about leaving extra towels. I just leave a note requesting what I need with my tip for the day.

does it get charged to a room account or something like they do on a cruise or is it just a pay when you get it type deal...

Pampam, I so agree with you on the pizza, I tried it last year when I was there, and it tasted like cardboard in my opinion, NEVER again!!!
