Yesterday a borrowing glitch came up for me! all good now!

Earlier this week, all was good and I did borrow for a December one night stay for friends. Yesterday, I went to upgrade a 2021 UY reservation of ours from studio to one bedroom, and I need to borrow. The only contract that came up to borrow from has no points to borrow. I have 25 parts to my membership, and at least 6 of them have points I can borrow. I did chat, was told yes, I see points to borrow, call to do it. I decided that maybe today things would be good, but no.

That is super strange!! Were you able to get the modification you wanted over the phone?

I have points from a transfer that won’t show up when I go to book a room (I can see them on my dashboard just fine)… it turns out the system will let me book MY home resort, but not the home resort of the transferred points… so bizarre! I’ve transferred into that membership before with no issues. Not the same as yours, obviously, but both are off-the-charts odd!!!

Are you using resale points? Some members with resale points can't borrow online because of a glitch.

I was trying to set up a visit through the web site, and things were really glitchy. I think I am going to call tomorrow to make sure my reservations are correct.

That’s is very strange. I had borrowing issues recently, but different than yours. On two occasions over the past month I borrowed from my biggest contract, direct points. both times the reservation went through, and it showed on my dashboard. But, no points were pulled. The first time I called because I was afraid it would cancel. The cm was shocked and even showed it to other CMs. She modified, clicked borrow points and it pulled them and went through. Several weeks later it happened again. So I modified and it said “reservation being held” so I borrowed again, since it didn’t borrow the first time and it went through. It was like I had a shell of a reservation, with no points attached. I was using a direct point purchase contract. Had I not noticed that my point balance had not changed, this reservation may have disappeared off of my dashboard.

I was able to borrow today without problems, and I think I may have been missing a step on the other tries. It is good, now!
