Trick or treating was a success for my kid! Now I get to call dibs on the best high fructose corn syrup and processed goodness!!! Baby Ruth's-here I come!

DD got a HUGE pixie stick (it's like 2 feet long). Tomorrow I'm going to let her eat the whole thing and go on a rampage through walmart. :lmao:

YM!!! High Fructose Corn Syrup is your friend.....eat up!!!! My daughter has traded, sorted and bagged up her stash already- the stuff she doesn't like- laffy taffy, starburst, twizzlers, pretzels, sweet tarts, gum etc is all getting sold to her orthodontist tomorrow for 1.00 a pound!

:rotfl:Too funny. I was like that until the kids got wise to me and started hiding/counting their candy.

My kids (now teens) informed me they're giving me their full sized 100 grand bars and butterfingers.Ordinarily I'd be enthralled, but this year I'm serious about cleaning up my eating habits. Oh the pain! :guilty:

Funny!
I remember when I would go trick or treating and my parents would claim the candy that was a bit too sugary. Glad to hear that halloween is fun for children and parents as well!!

I gave out big pixie sticks this year.

The kids were thrilled, the parents looked shocked.

we gave those out one year, only trouble was the kids who had those little plastic pumpkins they don't fit in.

I've had an almond joy, peanut M&Ms, Snickers and what did my kid eat when he got home? the bag of popcorn he got!!!

Candy is no big deal to him because we always have it at home and he has free rein to it but very rarely eats it.

My daughter had a piece of gum. She likes candy, but likes gum a lot more. I could probably offer her 5 packs of gum for her entire bag of candy and she would take me up on that offer. Hmmmm, that gives me an idea!!!

Where in the world do people find such big pixie sticks? I think the best thing(s) in her bag this year were the can of soda, the guy who gave out two king size candy bars to each kid and the 5 dollar bill.

You can buy a whole box of them at Sam's and they aren't very expensive.

Middle school kids love them, my DD said they always sold out first at any middle school dances.
