This morning my wife and I huddled around the phone at 6:55.

She had the kitchen phone.

I used our cell phone.

Carefully following the directions on this website for booking an IllumiNations cruise, we started dialing, hanging up, redialing, hanging up, redialing. I was biting my lower lip, she was whispering little prayers under her breath. We got through and started frantically pushing all the buttons, in all the right order.

And: shazzam! We booked the cruise we wanted, the night we wanted!

We did a little happy dance in our pajamas

We're setting sail on the IllumiNations cruise for Thursday July 28th. (Exactly 90 days out!)

It's my in-laws' last night in The World, and we want it to end with a BANG

...came when the castmember on the other end went through the litany of things that might -- literally -- rain on our parade.

She mentioned that they might cancel the show if the weather is bad, but added that they have it on nights when it is cold.

I said, "You know what? Somehow, I don't think that will be a problem in July."

She chuckled and said she did this very cruise in February -- and it was FREEZING.

Congratulations!! I also followed the directions and booked one for our June trip, I can't wait to go. 35 more days, which isn't bad when you consider I booked this vacation last November!

Congratulations!! What a magical way to end your inlaws trip! Now if it were me and my inlaws and I had them on a boat....Well let's just say "Magical: may not be ther word used. (Just kidding!!)
