I can't remember who, but someone on here gave the details for cancelling your SWest flight to get a better DING rate and getting a refund for the amount. Well we cancelled our original flights today when a ding fare came up and got the difference refunded! THANK YOU DIS'ers! You're the best! Hope those rates keep dropping, too! We saved $21 today...not a lot, but hopefully over time it will be much more!

We were lucky enough to do the same thing. We decided to fly rather than drive and booked on SW and within a few days saw a Ding rate alot cheaper and were able to rebook at the lower rate.
