Ive used the yes program in the past for both WDW and DL tickets. It went great. I hear some rumors that the program has changed and not as good anymore. I have not had time to call & research so I thought I would ask here if any of you know.

for instance someone told me that you can not buy tickets for your entire group anymore?

Is the homeschool program different than the yes program? I did not realize they were different?

There's a long ongoing thread about the Y.E.S. porgram over on the Budget Board. It has all the lastest information and is a good place to ask your questions.

The YES thread has great info, but I'll summarize the changes for you. With individual Enrollment, the only deeply discounted ticket is for the child/children participating. The other tickets are very close to regular price. You can only purchase one adult ticket per child, with the exception of a group of two parents with only one child participating. Gone are the days of buying deeply discounted tickets for everyone in your group.

Homeschool days tickets are still deeply discounted for all (same rules about how many adult vs kids tickets that can be purchased). Tickets are only good for a very limited time. We are going in jan and our trip just happened to work perfectly with the dates (1/19-2/1). Choosing Homeschool Days over Ind. Enrollment saved us several hundred dollars, and we were able to add YES classes in addition to the Homeschool presentation.

Hope that helps!

Thank you for the summary! We are going in January also. Now... last time the problem we had was we have 2 kids too young to participate so I stayed back with them but, we were able to buy tickets for all 7 of us. Are you saying that we will only be able to buy tickets for those attending the class itself? We have 2 adults (parents) and 5 kids. I dont remember seeing a class the our 4 year old can attend? Although I think he would be very behaved in one and enjoy it!?

I tried to purchase a ticket for my nephew, who is 19 and could not. Your best bet is to call, since you are trying to purchase for kids that are too young to attend you may be able to, but I don't think so. The new rules for individual enrollment changed the pricing considerably. You can always try to plug in Your info on the website and see if it will let you.

To say the least....I am very disappointed by the changes in the yes program! In the end it will cost us more to use the program.... not so exciting anymore to get the kids to do something educational if it costs us parents more money?! I guess now will be a good time to do a regular tour... dang!
