Yes or No to Stroller Fans? Where do I clip it?

I have yet to see a review for one that actually works well and does not break? Any suggestions? I should add that I don't have a bar for the fan to attach to and I have a City Mini Double Stroller, so the hood/cover goes pretty far down over the child to protect from sun/rain etc.

We had one, made by Safety First, that was wonderful We had season passes when our youngest was a baby so used it on many trips. Ordered it through walmart.com 2 years ago. It is still in perfect shape. Was a lifesaver many times when it was really hot plus the sound buzzing in her ear put her to sleep in her stroller often.

YES!!!! I got 2 clip-on fans from CVS and clipped them above DS's head. The "arm" of the fan is adjustable so you can aim it. He never broke a sweat last week.

I say yes to a stroller fan. We bought two of the Mickey fans at the parks and usually kept both running for the baby. This pic shows one of them:

You can find the Mickey fans at most of the shops at the entrance to the parks and other shops throughout the parks.

We got one last year, and it went through batteries like crazy and then just stopped working. Thankfully, they replaced it. We brought it this year, but didn't use it. The ones from CVS worked much better and were a lot easier to use.

I clipped it to the top of his seat, but you could clip it to the shade and aim it toward the baby. The arm is completely adjustable and it is light weight.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will check out the one at CVS!

Can you use rechargable batteries in them?

For the ones that do not have the cover - but the foam blades, don't your kids just play with them all the time? I will have a 13mo old when we go and I would imagine she will just want to try to play and break them apart. She is naughty like that.

I am pretty sure we used rechargable batteries in the fans as that is all we use.

I was a big proponent of stroller fans, but now that my guys are older (26 mos), they just want to play with the fan. I can't clip it out of their reach, so they constantly remove them. I've given up!

We used a stroller fan on our City Mini Single last October. I can't remember the brand, but I got it at Buy Buy Baby. It worked well and we'll bring it when we go in December (just in case). The only thing that got really annoying about it were all the comments everyone kept making about it. It sounds so silly to say that, and it's not like people said anything mean, I guess I just never thought it was such a novelty to so many people.
