Okay, my Oreck pooped out and I'm looking at the Shark Rotator. Does anyone have opinions?

TIA!

I can only say that I want the Shark Rotator vacuum really bad! I wish my vacuum would die so I can buy one. :(

I've had a shark rotator professional lift away 3 in 1 for about 6 months and I've been extremely pleased! The suction is strong, it handles well, it's easy to attach accessories. I also love that the rotator brush can be turned on and off. Check out what bonus accessories come with the model you want, because they varie with the store you purchase from. I ended up getting mine @ bed bath and beyond because I could use a 20% off coupon and it came with car detailing accessories.

We have had ours for 3-4 months and love it. So many great attachments and super easy to use. DH did countless hours researching and we both felt really good about spending the money on this one.

Hi- my vacuum pooped out the other day too. I first bought a Dyson after reading the Dyson sale thread the other day but I've never truly got the appeal of dyson's so after I read this thread (man, I've got to stop reading threads) I took it back and bought the Shark. After reading its reviews and features I thought it sounded better. So I can now give you my first post-vacuuming review. I love all the Attachments. Got it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with a 20% off coupon and their version comes with an extra car cleaning kit. It was a bit heavier than I expected but its doable. This thing sucks, literally. It actually lifts my 8x10 rug up off the floor a bit when I vacuumed it. I was amazed how much dirt it collected. Our old vacuum must have been on its way out for a long time. The lift away feature was super easy for the stairs and the canister vac was good for doing the hardwoods. It was a bit confusing at first, bulky, and will take up a lot of storage space for the canister base but its a small price to pay. So far (after my first attempt at vacuuming) its a thumbs up.

I bought one about a month ago from Bed Bath and Beyond. Paid $200 using a 20% off coupon. Car detailing kit was the bonus it came with. I had originally purchased it with the extended wand from Wally world but returned it without using because the cashier could not tell me the return policy. I am very happy with it. My 12 year old put it together by himself. I am not happy with the wand attachement. It is too short and will tip over the base very easily if it is not attached to the base. It works very well though.

Thanks everyone for your valuable input. I bought a Shark last night and can't wait to get it!:cool1:
