Sorry to ask another ME question as there are so many, but I didnt see anything regarding what my question is.. hoping someone might know..

Is ME an additional price?? We didnt do a package.. we bought airfare and hotel thru my agent but doing the tickets on our own.. I thought I read that if you are flying to WDW that ME is automatically covered, but when I first asked my TA about it, she said it was an additional price.. so is it free or do we have to pay??

also if free, how do you schedule it? we are arriving at airport at 10:30 at night.. do they still run it then??

I just need to know so I can get this all figured out..

DME is free if you are staying on Disney property. If you are staying on Disney property - call your TA and tell her she's WRONG and to call and make a ressie for you for DME.

It's FREE for guests staying on-site at a WDW Resort. Call WDW directly as they will need your airline information and you can ensure they are getting the right info rather than your TA giving them the info (my preference anyway).

You will receive luggage tags to identify your bags as ME and once you say goodbye to them at your departure airport you will not see them again until you are in your room (usually a few hours after you arrive). So the idea is you head right to the parks and when you get back your luggage is in your room. Disney Magic!

From Disney! Ask your TA if they requsted ME for you, if not get them to do it. If they don't know what you're talking about call Disney directly.

Yep, it shows on our paperwork that they booked ME for us - guess I'll just have to wait on the mail - Grrrr, I really hate waiting on the mail.

The DME tags (part of an entire DME booklet) will be mailed directly to your TA, not to you. It's then up to your TA to get them to you.

DME does still run at 10:30 at night. They say their hours are until 11 PM, but they monitor the reserved incoming flights for late arriving guests. Some folks have opted not to have their luggage delivered to their room that night, as there can by a delay. You could pack your "night clothes" in a carry on if you choose and then request that they hold your luggage until the morning, or you could wait for it to be delivered to your room.
