We have 8 kids ranging in age from 5-11, because of the age range we will most likely do the SYNERGY CLASS offered at EPCOT.

I have 4 kids ranging in age from 5-11yrs.
Another poster and her friend each have an 8 yr old

So....we only need 4 more kids!

Haven't booked my trip yet, as getting a group together would be my deciding factor.

Yes- that is my understanding. If you are looking for individual enrollment you can look at their calendar of classes offered for specific dates.

We're planning on coming May 8 - 13. I have a 7 year old who will love anything YES Epcot.

We will be there April 24th - 28th (could maybe go a couple days earlier too) if anyone is gonna be there. We have a 10 and 11 year old.

WOW! We are really close to having enough for a group sometime that week. I will start researching how we can "do this" as far as the organization! If anyone has any experience organizing a group and would be wiling to share any words of wisdom that would be great, just PM me!

On a whim I called the YES program number listed on the website and spoke with coordinator "Lisa" about the best way to organize this.

It looks like only two programs will really work for the age ranges we have
Synergy in Science at Epcot starting at 8:45 or 12:45

How Things Work at MK 8:15 and it is 2.5 hrs long

One person needs to buy all of the tickets, so I guess the others would need to PayPal their cost to the coordinator?

She did say only one adult ticket can be purchased for each child's ticket- I thought others were getting tickets for their whole groups? but I could be wrong. I asked if my younger son could get a ticket for that price- and she said yes he can part of the group but not attend the class? I would think my husband and I could each buy a ticket since we have two children attending the class- but only one of us can actually go, as we have a 3yr old as well. Not sure if that is OK or if the other parent needs to purchase a regularly priced ticket.

I looked through the website and we need to request a minmum of six weeks in advance- but I would rather get it done sooner than later just so we have time to get all our ducks in a row if we need other tickets.

One thing I wasn't sure about was whether we all had to have the same tickets? For instance if my family dosn't need park hoppers, but someone else does- how would that work?

Right now my preferred date for the class is Friday May 13th, but I would be open to other dates. You do need a park admission ticket to that park for that day of the class- so whatever day we pick will be an Epcot day for anyone without Park Hoppers...

Oh and that last part was assuming we were doing the class at Epcot...I don't know if we (our family) would be able to give up morning touring at MK!

That's funny I called and talked to them this morning too!
I thought the same thing about the Epcot class...it would accommodate all the kids ages.

Tickets can be whatever we want, they do not have to be the same amount of days or type. Each family can decide what they want.
Yes, you get one ticket per child attending the class, so you and your husband can buy at the discounted price as long as you have at least 2 kids attending.

Not sure if this will help with a group for my dates or not, but my 5 year old could go -- but she's not in Kindergarten yet (will start next fall). I'd love to have a group for our dates -- we were soooo disappointed when there wasn't individual enrollment for May!
