Hi All,
we are thinking of booking Yes car Hire for our upcoming 3 week trip to DL :goodvibes in November and are looking for peoples opinions.

They are the best quote for a minivan at 483pounds.

Has anyone had experience with this company??? :magnify:

thank you

hi caren

we have used them twice- no problems at all in july there was a problem with the central locking and the were fine about changing the car.

Hello Carin

I asked the same question recently and paulh replied that he had used them with no problem so I too booked them for November for Florida. I was also told they use Alamo, which is on airport at MCO so that's fine with me. Sure we'll both be happy with them. :wave2:

Carin my voucher from YesCarHire arrived in the post today (booked last week) and it is Alamo as I'd been told and everything looks fine.

Michelle: Carin has booked for 3 weeks I believe, not 2. I paid £177 for a week's minivan hire - gold to include tank of petrol and other drivers. It is only a 7 seater though, not 8 like you have.

Thanks Everyone,
It's good to hear of others experiences!

Yes, we are going for 3 weeks and want a 7 seater minivan, 483 (inc. gold insurance package ie. extra drivers and tank of fuel) is the best I have found by far.

I think we should go ahead and book before the price goes up!

Thanks again

Pootle,

On checking Alamo's web site it lists a minivan as chevvy venture or similar, and lists it as only having 6 seats.

Have you any info on the type of car you will be getting?
6 would fit us, but I was hoping for 7 for a bit more room.

thanks

I just wanted to add my input and say that it is definately a good idea to hire a car when you come to Orlando, espicially if you are going to be there that long. You will pay double the price if you depend on taxis and buses. Alot of families don't realize before they come. Just a suggestion, alot of concierges at hotels have connections with car rental companies and can get you better rates than what you can get from overseas.

Carin: My voucher for Alamo just confirms a minivan x 7 seater. I took a look at Alamo's site too and it gives the Chevvy Venture as seating 6 adults plus 1 child and the Chevvy Astro as seating 6 adults and 2 children. I would guess that this translates to a 7 and 8 seater van respectively.

momof3disneyholics: This subject is discussed a lot on the UK boards. I agree that I wouldn't want to be in Orlando without a car (and I've been dozens of times). However, many people do manage without and are quite happy to do so. Also, hiring a car in the US at some of the bargain rates offered, isn't quite so straightforward for us Brits because of the insurance issues. Some people do so because they already have the insurance in place via their bank or a separate policy for example, but for most of us who don't do this, then it works out cheaper to buy an inclusive deal here in the UK. :)

Doh!

I didn't see the child icon!
The 6 adults and 1 child sounds perfect for our needs.

Thanks Pootle
