Yes.. another MP3 question :0) Opinions please

I am looking for an MP3 player that will be adequate for 2 of my children.. one is 12 and the other is 14.. both want MP3 players for Christmas and Im trying to stay in my limits.. I found a good priced one.. it is a 512MB .. holds up to 240 WMA songs (not sure what this means) or 120 songs (mp3).. Obviously I know nothing about this and am needing a little guidance.. What do you think? Is there something specific I should be looking for when buying one?

My 14 yo DS just got the Sandisk 512mg w/ FM tuner for his bday 11/3 and has not been without it since! It will be onsale at Best Buy on Friday for 39.99 I am getting two more for my 13yo DS and 11yo DD.

Robyn.. Thanks for the reply.. I found the one Im gonna try to get.. Went to the mall tonight to get some Yankee candles and just as Radioshack was closing they were handing out the ad for Friday.. There is a 1GB MP3 player with builtin FM tuner..holds 240 songs.. its reg 119.99 - 70 radioshack mailin rebate.. so it ends up being 49.99-- Im having my boyfriend go to a RS that is closer to us to get 3 of these.. 2 for each of my 2 and one for his son..
