Beth, having your DH's (or significant other's) name tattoo'd on your ring finger is the thing to do!

Lisa Presley has something on her left ring finger, but she wouldn't say what (I'm guessing it's a cuss word) on that interview with Diane Sawyer!

And Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson did the same thing...only now Pamela's says "Mommy" instead of "Tommy" since they are no longer together!

Yep Tommy and Pamela did that....I will wear my rings over it.

You should see some of the pics of what people have on their fingers. I can't imagine going around for the rest of my life with something like eat me on my fingers...LOL! So there are worse rednecks out there than us.

I think that is really nice - and a finger is a good choice in my opinion. I had a girlfriend who had a very nice little dolphin tattooed just over her left hip bone - very cute.....until her seventh month of pregnancy -

I was just reading in People magazine at lunch today that Mia Tyler, daughter of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, is getting married to the drummer from Papa Roach. They said they will be getting their left ring fingers tattooed with wedding bands.

We saw the bands but I just like the names better. It almost has to be black to show up well and then bands just aren't that pretty to me.

Beth, I think it's cool!

Stephen does not wear a wedding band. Long story, but it has to do with big knuckles and working construction all his life. This weekend, for Father's Day from the girls, he's getting a rocket ship on his ankle. It's the Tom Corbett Rocket ship, cus he calls me tc since I have been known to be a space cadet. Now, at least if someone asks him about it, he can say, "It's for my wife." I never thought of my name on his finger. I doubt he'd do that. He wanted something he could cover up if he started teaching or needed to dress up nice. Otherwise, the spaceship would be on his forearm.

I'll try to post a pic after it's healed.
