My husband and I are planning a very special once in a lifetime trip to WL for our 10th anniversary in 2005. We are saving up to stay in either the Yosemite or Yellowstone suite. I have found pictures of both on the web but would really like some input from someone who may have stayed in either. Which should we choose? Which has the better view from the balcony? Yosemite looks to be located above Artist Point on the 7th floor with the view out over the pool. Not sure about view from the Yellowstone balcony as I don't know exactly where it is on the 7th floor. Decor is different in each but both look REALLY nice. Any input would really be appreciated.

We were going to stay in the Yellowstone suite this year but added on more points to our DVC instead.

I had trouble finding information on these suites. The Yellowstone suite is across the courtyard from the Yosemite Suite. So you also would be looking at the courtyard from this suite.

From the pictures, I prefer the decor of the Yosemite Suite better. I believe they are bothe smoking optional and this would not have worked for us.

There was a post a few months ago about some housekeeping issues a couple experienced while trying to check into the Yosemite Suite.

They are both on the 7th floor and they both come with concierge service and you can have a connecting concierge room with either if you were traveling with big party and needed a 2 room suite.

Have you thought about the Honeymoon suites at WL?

There is someone on these board with lots of information about different suites at WDW. I think the website is www.***********.com . I've been there lots of times to look at pictures. Check it out!:D

We have stayed in both. The Yosemite has a nice large balsony with table and chairs. The other is actiually just several small balconies. They are directly across from 1 another so the view is about the same. The yellowstone has a little more formal feel to it and has a larger dining table. Do you have any particular questions I can answer for you? The Yellowstone has a small alcove with desk-kind of wasted space-in Yosemite desk is in the living room. Yellowstone is a little larger, but not sure of square footage. Beth

Thanks for the info. Are the jacuzzis the same in both? We usually go down to the hot tubs but if we have one in the room we will use that. We do like to sit outside and eat breakfast so having a table/chairs on the balcony sounds nice. Decisions, decisions.

I believe the bath in the yellowstone was larger. Both have jacuzzis, but the yellowstone has a larger shower, separate make-up area too.

We got married at Disney and they bumped us up to the Yosemite as a "wedding present". It was amazing! The room is huge, the jacuzzi tub incredibly romantic, having room service on the large balcony overlooking the pools and water was wonderful. We absolutely loved our time there. Not sure what time of year you are going, but we got married 12/28 and the room was actually decorated for Christmas -- two Christmas trees and garland. It was fantastic! We could not have asked for a better first night as man and wife than being in that room!

Haven't been in the Yellowstone, but my understanding from my wedding coordinator was that Yosemite was geared more toward couples -- i.e. larger jacuzzi, two smaller eating areas (one inside, one out). Yellowstone was geared more toward familes -- i.e. larger inside dining area. Can anyone else confirm?
