My flights to and from Orlando were full of families on vacation. Social-distancing wasn't possible because almost every seat was sold and I think the airline's route schedule is the same as pre-pandemic. Universal is packed on weekends and busy most of the other days, often with multi-hour waits for the most popular attractions. I'm going to be traveling more now that I've had the virus because prices are so cheap. WDW has not been allowing AP renewals (which really screws over families that have different renewal dates) so I've moved on to places that do want my money. With all these cuts I'm glad I didn't renew because other theme parks are doing a much better job keeping attractions open and entertainment offerings. WDW still hasn't even refunded my AP cost from during the shutdown and it has been 2 1/2 months.
Universal cut ticket prices for locals (who still have to pay for parking, food, and souvenirs) and out-of-state costs aren't bad (buy 2 days get 2 free). They opened up two haunted houses and other Halloween activities. They are also having their performers wear masks so entertainment hasn't been reduced much. It's just not true that Disney isn't able to do anything to bring people back into the parks.
