Day 6 (Part 1) - Wednesday, November 19th, 2003

CAST OF CHARACTERS:
Yecats - Me, myself and I.
Me is Single, 33 (however, other two personalities - myself is about 10 years old and an advid SM freak and the I personality may be about 60 years especially after getting off of the ToT).

Also on board is my new Canon ZR65 Digital Videocamera nicknamed: Handycam, as it was always in my hand.

PLAN FOR THE DAY:
1. Breakfast at Boatwrights (part 1)
2. MGM in the rain (part 1)
3. Friendship boat tour of Epcot resorts (part 1)
4. World Showcase (part 1)
5. Le Cellier again
6. Epcot
7. Back to hotel for next mousekeeping adventure

TIP:
There are two ways to tour the World Showcase:
1. Leave one full day to walk the 1.6 miles around the lagoon and since it doesn't open until 11:00 a.m. you might as well sleep in late. Additionally, if you decide this tour option is for you, make lunch and dinner ressie's for restaurants there as well.
2. Other option is to split WS into smaller sections covering 3 countries during a set period of time.

Well as you can read in my last report, I decided to take my time and toured 5 countries. I spent time in each, just browsed in shops, watched scheduled entertainment and really enjoyed my time there. I have had past trips wherein we hit Future World and ran to Norway for Maelstrom and left. One of my goals this trip was to enjoy the countries and I really did achieve this.

Anyway, after boarding the friendship boat in Morocco and brief respite crossing WS Lagoon, I find myself walking to LeCellier in Canada. I am right on time for my PS (no people waiting at 5:30) and am lead directly in. I was fooling around with Handycam and forgot to ask to sit in Elaine's section. I was placed not far away from my previous table (about 10 feet) and shortly thereafter Jeff was introducing himself. Elaine came out of the kitchen at this point and instructed Jeff that I was good people and to treat me right. Both Jeff and Elaine stopped by several times and had various conversations with me. Thank you both, you are the tops and Disney is very lucky to have 2 excellent employees working for them who truly know and appreciate the Disney spirit. Anyway, I decided to go the same route as my previous meal here and had the NY strip steak which as usual was delicious along with breadsticks and I just had to have the maple creme brulee. Couldn't go wrong with that meal if they tried. Well all good things must come to an end and I left there about 6:30 and wished both Elaine and Jeff a fond farewell until next time.

I decided to do a bit more shopping to let my food settle a bit. I then walked over to ride Spaceship Earth again and could hear Test Track calling my name. Okay so I just have to give in and yes, once again, Test Tracked myself to death. The CM's know me well.

Okay so now it is rounding 8:00 when I head out and back to PORS. Get to PORS, stopped in Food Court for a coke refill with souvenir cup and onto room to change and hit the pool. Now just a brief reminder, I am solo and very clean. The hardest thing the mousekeeper has to do is make the bed. I leave all of the towels in one small pile in the bathroom and there is absolutely no clothing, luggage or other personally items strewn about the room (I am compulsively neat and have been leaving money for her daily). I arrive at my room, open the door and noticed mousekeeping forgot the trash again (2nd time). This time, she did take the trash bag out of the trash can and placed it on the bench all tied up. She must've gone in to clean the bathroom and forgot to take the bag off of the bench and throw it away. She also forgot to empty the water out of the waterbucket and leave a new bag.

So I have changed into my bathing suit, take the forgotten trash and head on down to the Ole Man Island for my usual dip in the pool (while Illuminations is going off at Epcot) followed by the usuall dip in the hot tub while enjoying a pina coloda from the bar. What a great day and now really chilly day. I retired back to my room around 9:45. It was about 48 degrees so plenty of people were laughing at those of us who after jumping out of the hottub would then proceed to run back to their rooms before the warmth wore off of our skin. It was pretty funny.

RECAP:
LeCellier once again - ::yes::
Test Track myself to death - :Pinkbounc
Mousekeeping -
Ole Man Island - :teeth:

Stay tuned for Day 7 - An Adam Sandler movie moment.
