That was my point. You shouldn't see it as a bonus. It's infinitely doable. You can three bigs rides a day easily without FPP if you just get there for rope drop. More in fact. And you can't get three big rides currently with FPP at Epcot or DHS because of the tiering system.

Rope drop is okay a few days(eg 1st day) but personally i prefer a more relaxed approach

We find doing rope in parks is the relaxed approach, you can get on anything with no lines for about 2-3 hours, far more than you can do in 4-6 hours later in the day. Then go out and chill in the afternoons by the pool when the parks are at their busiest.
 
Yep I think I'll be going for rope drop then FP+ for afternoon/evenings depending on where we are eating that night. Also aiming to rope drop / FP+ in the easywdw recommended parks each day or combo or most recommended / next recomended

should i avoid morning EMH? or is it still worth it
