Do you reckon that many of the dreams get given to couples without children (or adults alone)?
All of the experiences I have heard of have been families. Whilst I have nothing against children (I even have one myself but now she is 23 and over 6 ft tall!) it would be nice to know that us oldies could also be in the running for some goodies!!!!;)

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is this Year of a Million Dreams?

We went at Christmas and got friendly with another family, when we saw them at the airport on the return journey they had won a lanyard with some pins on and they were a couple with a grown up daughter(about 30) and her boyfriend.

I have read quite a few reports of adults only (even sole visitors) winning. I understand it is worked out to be the xxxth person at a particular place at a particular time, or the person sitting in such and such seat on a particular ride/show at a set time.

We went in jan and were given the lanyards. We walked through one of the attractions at animal kingdom and happened to be lucky and be in the right place at the right time. There were couples in front of us who also got them.

Have you tried entering the postcards as well as I believe everyone has the same chance of winning. I'm sending postcards in periodically and to date I have won the Ears and Lanyard with Pins and DD has won the Ears too. Hoping we might find a Dream when we go in August.

I'm 35, Dad is 60 and we were both lucky enough to get two Dream FastPasses when we were there in April so I would say you have every chance of getting something.

From what I have read it is completely random as to what is going to be handed out, when and where so unless the instructions specifically say "The first family to..." or "The first child to..." nobody knows what category the winners will fall into.

Me and my other half were chosen for Dream Fastpasses no less than 3 times when we were there in Jan/Feb this year :cool1: and we are 26 and 28!!!! so i do think its more a right time and right place kinda thing. We also met an older couple who had won the night in cinders castle and they were there on there own so i dont think it is always familys!
our first fastpass was awarded at AK coming off the safari, 2nd was coming off peter pan in MK and the third was coming off small world on our last day
