hi
The year of a million dreams promotion.
A qustion to those in the uk taking part by post

Ive been posting in postcards but they are the ones from whsmiths 3 1/2 by 5 1/2, i just noticed it says a smaller size postcard on the disney site, is this because the us carries diffrent sized postcards, will my entries still be valid?, i looked everywhere 4 smaller ones, but couldnt find them,
do i need to cut mine down, what has everyone else done?

thanks xxxx :wave2:

I've been entering on a standard postcard - I didn't think to measure it :confused3

i didnt measure it i noticed it printed on the front of the pad of postcards!

I've been using standard size postcards. I did notice they were larger than the size quoted on the Disney site but couldn't find any smaller. Hopefully all our entries will still be valid! Would be wonderful to win a prize!

no couldnt eiher, did think of cutting them down but then i suppose most uk entries wil be on that size card :)

the post office gave me 3.5 x 5.5 as well.. do you think i should cut it down to an even 5? will the post office accept that? or will disney accept 5.5? oi this is such a pain in the tush!

Sorry to disappoint you guys, but I read up in their terms and conditions that it was void outside the US.. :(

Pokemon,

I think you need a better pair of reading glasses. The first sentence of the first section states that residents of the UK can enter. ;)

1.ELIGIBILITY

Void outside the fifty (50) United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and where prohibited by law.

Also there is a UK address for UK entrants to send their postcards to :)

if a legal resident of the United Kingdom: Disney Dream Giveaway, 483 Green Lanes, London N13 4BS.

Claire ;)

Methinks it was a ploy on your behalf. Tell everyone they can't enter and then you'll win instead. :lmao:
