Hi again,

These boards are so addiciting!!! :teeth: Can't...Log...off, Must... read ...more.

Anyway here is another question for those of you who have been in WDW when a new theme was unveiled. I am going in mid to late October and the new promotion starts October 1. Will there still be a bunch of crowds there for all the press events and such that usually accompany such openings?

I know Epcot will be busy with the F&W festival and MK with the halloween party. I was there for both of them last year but I am wondering what a new theme will bring for crowds.

Thanks!

PS I really do have a job, it's just my day off today and I usually work nights so I can be online all day long. I really should be doing other things. Oh well :confused3

We went on May 5, 2005 for the HCOE, which was bigger than the Year of a Million Dreams. The parks were crowded on the first weekend and couple of days. I think it was a Thursday. On the Monday, it still wasn't as empty as May usually is, but it was not bad at all. (I'm guessing Florida residents wanted to be there for the openning) May and October are sort of times, May more so.

Bump ~ hoping for more replies, one is helpful, several is more helpful
Thanks!

My mother has overlapped the grand unveiling of the Curse of the Pink Castle (25th aniversary) and one other . . . I want to say Walt's birthday? and both times she said that the crowds were practically undiscernable from a normal day at the parks during that season except for a 2 hour press deal in the morning. Once you got past the glut of cameras though to the back part of the park she said you'd hardly even know there was anything going on.

I hope not- we will prob be at Epcot that day. I hope it isn't too crowded. Speaking of year of a million dreams- what is a golden fastpass?
