Our Magical trip started out at Old Key West on Saturday September 29, 2007 at 12:00 noon. I packed bathing suits and flip-flops to carry on the plane because we knew we would not receive our luggage right away since we used Magical Express. A couple of people were in line at registration, so I told my husband that I would take the kids down to the pool and get them changed into bathing suits and meet him at the pool. All of a sudden all the cast members at registration came over in front of him clapping and said congratulations, you are Old Key West family of the day. He received a Magical Moment Certifcate, balloons and pins that said family of the day. Of course he started clapping and did not know it was his family that was family of the day.
The next couple of days at the parks we seen lots of Dream cast members but did not receive any dreams.
On day 6 of our trip, we were in line for the train to take us to Toon Town at Walt Disney World and my 10 year old daughter noticed a couple of Dream Cast members hiding in the exit area off the train. They both had white vests on. She said she wanted to go and see what they were handing out, and she was given Dream passes and each one of our family got one to.
On day 7 of our trip, we were at MGM Studios waiting for the High School Musical show to start and my girls were looking at pins and the CM asked the girls some questions, they all got Magical Moments certificates.
On day 8 of our trip we were at Walt Disney World and my youngest daughter Olivia (6) wanted to go on the Tea Cups and went over and asked the CM if she could ride, they told her it was closed for a little while being fixed and it would open in 15 minutes or so, she then noticed a CM with lots of pins and walked over to her. After I realized it, she was in front of a Dreams Cast member. She noticed a Simba on her pins and told the cast member she wanted to trade the one of her pins for the Simba pin for her friend Lexi who loves Simba. The Dreams Cast member then handed her a set of the Tinkerbell Dreams Comes True pins. She said thank you and gave the other one to her sister Ellie.
On day 9 of our trip my daughters Amber and Olivia receive certificates at Olivia's Cafe' for being Artist of the Day. The first child or children handing in pictures in the morning must receive this. Then we were at the pool and my daughter Olivia was Slide Princess of the Day. At 10:00am she got picked to be the Slide Princess. She received a crown and certificate and had to say, Zippeddd do da zip de da and the slide turned on magically.
On day 9 of our trup we were at Downtown Disney Pin Traders and I receive the Tinkerbell Dreams comes true Pins. I am giving both of them away to my friend who was with us for her two daughters. They did not receive any Dreams while they were there.
Overall we had a wonderful trip but had to dart alot of rain.
What a Magical Experience.. Thank you Disney for making our trip so much more fun.
