We are so lucky to have booked a trip to US/IOA and SeaWorld for May 2008.

My husband and I visited US in 96 and loved it. Went back in 2002 (leaving the babies home) and stayed onsite at the Portofino for my 30th.

In 2004, we took the babes and parents to WDW. Loved it!

In 2005, we took the babes (then 4 and 6) and my parents and had a great time.

In 2007, we did WDW, I loved it, but it somehow lost a little bit of magic for us.....personal thing not debating!!!!

Now we are going back to US/IOA with soon to be 8 and almost 10 year boys. they are into thrill rides, like mom and dad and grandma, so we can't wait!!!!

Now, my question is what has changed...what is not to miss...any new foods that are really great. We love Mythos and "can't remember the name...sit down seafood near Jaws" and Finnegan's. I just love the quality of food at Us/IOA. I think it is great for theme park food.

Has anything gone down hilll....should we avoid...

We are so excited about going. We never had it planned. A large room was available with our timeshare for the Hilton @ I-Drive for the dates we wanted to travel so we went with Orlando..(the original plan was Williamsburg, VA).

Looking forward to your thoughts...

All the older rides are still great.Donn't know what year ROTM opened, amust do.Of coarse the Simpsons is open now and its fun. They did change eartquake to Disater, which I think is better. They did close down Flying Unicorn and the enchanted Oak rest for HP construction!!

So for the most part everything is a must see and do..:thumbsup2

The name of that rest your thinking about is Lombards..:thumbsup2

The name of the restaurant you're thinking of is Lombard's Landing.

And what's gone downhill? The rollercoasters. They always go "downhill" :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1
