Yeah waitlist! We're headed to BLT!

Our BLT waitlist came through! We were happy to be heading to SSR but now we get to try out BLT. Now I get to check out all the info on how to get into the Top of the World Lounge!

We're 4 people in a studio so wish us well. (If only we could have the space of OKW with a fireworks view! We DVCers do love to dream!)

Congratulations!!! Our waitlist came through yesterday for BLT Aug.11 -14!!!!!!!! My grandson is thrilled to be able to ride the monorail. We are taking our two oldest grandchildren to celebrate their birthdays which are in June and July.

Congratulations RCharnay and sb127 on your wait list success. We hope you enjoy your BLT stay as much as we did last December.

Access to TOTWL (5pm-12pm) is pretty easy. Go to the BLT lobby, there will be a CM there. They will ask to see your room key (and some people have had to show their DVC card). They escort you to an elevator, insert their special key and then you ride up to the top.

Some say it's odd because you go down before going up. But it was pretty easy (and is similar to how guests at CR must go to the California Grill).

the deck starts before the lounge - just take the steps up to it.

Thanks for all the info everyone! We are looking forward to hanging out in the lounge and watching fireworks from the deck. We'll have 2 college age kids with us so they are into the "cocktail" scene. Is there any food available in the lounge?

We tried all the flatbreads. The three of us enjoyed them and all had a different favorite. Also, if you have TIW, they accept it there.

June 7 & 8th. It's a quick stay but since we aren't doing parks, we can take in the BLT and enjoy its amenities

We were able to book at the 7mo mark for our Nov pre cruise trip and I'm so excited! We have 4 in a 1BR (spoiled since our 1BR stay at VGC) With two little ones we need the extra space for our sanity.
I'm also planning on watching the fireworks from TOTWL, it will be MVMCP so it should be an extra exciting show I think, and maybe a bit more crowded than normal. What are the crowds like now? I know when it first opened people were saying it wasn't busy... How early should we get there to view MVMCP fireworks? Does anyone have pictures or thread links of the view from up there?

We are on a waitlist for BLT in Oct., for a 2 br, but no luck yet. I'm not really expecting it but hoping. We booked just a few weeks ago and of course SSR was all that was available.
