I went to the game last night...and have tickets for the Lousiville game next week!

when they blocked the punt in the 4th quarter, it was insane!!!

I have some friends that are still students there (didn't graduate from there though) so I get into the students section..so the games are a ton of fun.

It's nice that NJ finally has a good college football team to follow!

Congrats on getting Louisville Tickets, since the game is now sold out.... Personally being a PROUD Rutgers Grad, Class of 92, I just seemed like the Rutgers of old. They were going to lose the one they were supposed to win. I'm hoping they can get it together for the Louisville game and at least show up. As they said in the student paper today, they were dressed as UConn the second half for Halloween.

We're Louisville fans, have season tickets. I'm going with DD19 to the WVU game Thurs. night, but I'm a little bit worried about Rutgers next week. There's been so much hype about the WVU game and there's so much on the line with it, that I'm afraid they won't be playing up to their potential against Rutgers.

We've got great coaches though, and I'm sure they'll get them up for the game!

GO CARDS!

I'm very happy that Rutgers is doing so well this season!!!! :thumbsup2 :cheer2: I really hope that they can beat Louisville next week!!!

Good luck RU!!!

I'm originally fom NJ, so I'm a big Rutgers fan and proud for the school!!!!! :thumbsup2 :cheer2: :dance3: :bounce:

RU rah, rah :cheer2:
RU rah, rah :cheer2:

This season has been so much fun for our family ! As an RU alum (RC '84), I'm really proud of RU and what it's football program has been able to accomplish over the past few years. I think it's terrific that they are getting all of this attention.

We were planning to take the kids to the Louisville game, but I waited too long to get tickets ! I really never dreamed they'd be and selling out weeks in advance !

Last night was a bit scary, but the end result was still the win they needed. I have alot of confidence in Greg Schiano ... I believe he has the ability to get this team really focused for the Louisville game and show everyone what they're really made of !!!

GO RU !! :cool1:

I hope Rutgers beats Lousville after we do, then we beat Rutgers, then off to the National Championship game. :bounce: :bounce:

Go Big East! Louisville fan here, totally pysched for the WV game. And I hope Rutgers only loses to Louisville!

Happy for them! Graduated from Rutgers-Newark and now my niece is a student there.

Go Louisville (against WVU), and then Go Rutgers (against Louisville). :cheer2: ;) :teeth:

It's so exciting isn't it?

I grew up in Piscataway, NJ and we use to go to Rutgers games all the time, I remember sitting in the stands and you could probably have a conversion wth every person there, they were so empty. Now the games are selling out! So funny, back then if they even won a single game we were excited and now they're undefeated. :woohoo:

:thumbsup2 That's what I'm hoping for. I figure Louisville has to win next week against WVU if Rutgers stands a chance against them the following week because Louisville won't lose 2 in a row.

I don't know about that, though -- the two of them are so far ahead of everyone in the BCS points (they're both like .15 ahead of WVU) that if there's no other undefeated teams (well, not counting Boise State and Rutgers -- no offense to any fans of those teams), there still could be a chance, assuming the game's close.

It all comes down to the voters, and I see no way the voters are going to put the MI/OSU loser into the national championship game. The two teams will have just played - what sense does it make to have them play again? I can see the voters putting a 1-loss SEC champion into the BCS title game over WV (and they *will* put a 1-loss SEC champion into the game over Louisville/Rutgers), but no way will they rematch MI/OSU.

Even if it wasn't such a close rematch, the loser doesn't get in because too many voters will refuse to put somebody at #2 that didn't win their conference (same problem TN faces).

Bing, bing, bing.

If OSU/MI played each other earlier in the season there MIGHT have been a slight chance of a rematch. Last game of the season...NOPE. And yes being a conference champion does mean something.

It'd be so exciting if Rutgers beats Lousiville. The game is going to be crazy. I have to leave work at 3 (WOOHOO) that day just to get home and then get to the stadium for tailgating and the game!!!!

If we beat Lousivillle and then WVU (crazy to think) some say we could get to the national championship.

Keeping this post alive .....

Tonight is the big Louiville - West Virginia game !!!

In your opinion, which is better for Rutgers ... for Louiville or West Virginia to win ?

Lots of talk about Rutgers Footabll and interesting reading / clips posted on the message boards at www.ScarletNation.com for anyone interested !

I was excited to see "Brian Leonard - #23 " pay my house a visit this Halloween !!!

RU rah - rah :cheer2:
