now the questions - which room to request for best view?

are there special things to do at AK?

We have stayed at WLV, and loved that, this is our 1st time at AKV!

You reservation will state Jambo or Kidani, ours did. We stayed Jambo House AKLV 1 bedroom savannah view for xmas trip this year. Loved the place really liked being in the main lodge. Have visited the resort to eat many times but it was our first stay here. We had zebra, giraffes, all sorts of birds, many types of antelope(not sure real names). The feeding area for the giraffes were tight at our balcony. The only bad thing was that it was freezing cold so we did not use the balcony very much..viewing thru the slider was just fine. Enjoyed the offerings at Mara,one dinner and many snacks(cheescake, hummus, carrot cake). Had alot going on each day in the main lobby. Never visited Kidani at all, but we could see it from our savannah. Loved the whole resort..CMs from check-in on thru the whole stay were amazing.
