I was starting to panic but it came....... I finally got my birth certificate..... I expidited it back on June 20th or so (that means in their words will be mailed in 10 days... snicker snicker yeah sure) If you do the math it's now AUGUST 11th!!

so almost 2 month's later and lots of phone calls I finally got it!

now let's hope the passports don't take as long..... going to get them 1 week from Monday in Kitchener.

any idea of the best time of day to go?? I'm trailing 3 kids with me

I would say first thing in the morning would be best. I know that was the case to get SIN's for my kids at the Gov't office. Although if you look at:

Julie went in the afternoon and it still only took her about an hour. Looks like Kitchener is definitely the place to go!

So which of those kids thinks he's gonna be able to consume "The Kitchen Sink" at Beaches 'n Cream, when you get to WDW? Hey, at least he'll be getting his calcium that day.

But are you really gonna need passports to go to WDW? But perhaps you're headed someplace else as well. Good luck with the bureaucrats. I hoe it all works out for you.

LOL... my 10yo ice cream nut ds is the one that thinks he can eat it..... we are just laughing at him and figure that we'll order it and sit and watch him struggle for a while then help him!!

We are getting passports for a few reasons.... #1 would be b/c we were told by the TA that although it's not necessary it would be easier for the border crossing.... then there's the 'what if' they decide that they require them all of a sudden?? Plus I figure if I spend the money getting them perhaps the 2 boys and I can go to England when dh goes for work next year.... oh and there's the cruise we want to go on too in the fall of 2005 (I'm hoping and dreaming!!lol)

At least if I have them I don't have to do it again for 5 yrs!!
