Yeah, I finally got HH for July!

I don't know whats up with HH this year, but it took me a month and calling religiously everyday this week at opening to get a week in July. I have never had this kind of trouble with HH before and we've been going for a week every summer for the past four years.

I can't wait to go and visit with Shadow. I do hope she's still around. My girls love to go to the pool party every summer. They have so much fun.

We just joined DVC last month. We decided to try and stay at HH in July because we have family in Charleston, SC and always go there for a few days. I called first thing in the morning and got a studio for July 17th. I then called day by day and got it for three nights which is what I wanted! It was easy! I am glad I booked day by day! We have never been there before. What is the pool party like? I am very excited!! Do they have activities for young kids? My kids will be 6 and 3 when we go!

My girls are 11 and 8 and they love going to HH every summer. Make sure you bring their bikes or you can rent some while your there. They have kids night out that mine both love. My 8 year old really doesn't enjoy things like this but they really have fun. We also go to the campfire that's always fun. At the pool party, they have a BBQ and the food is ok but we go for the fun and not the food. They have a watermelon seed spitting, pie eating, icecream drop, and trivia contests. After all the activities and food they have a dance at the pool.

Congratulations! Maybe you got the villa we won't be using this July.

We're be there the end of March for a change of pace. I hope we like it as much as July. It will definately be cooler.

Wow! I'm really lucky. I called day-by-day this year and got our week! I guess I should be even happier! I figured it would be tight but didn't realize what a difficult thing I've done. I can't wait until our July 15-20 trip!

We've been in mid-Sep before and fell in love with the resort. Can't wait to try it during high season!

I called and was able to get a 2-bedroom at HH for July 29, but we are on the waiting list for July 30,31, and August 1-2. Nothing was available!!!

We live in NC so we're use to hot. I just stay in the pool and drink lots of frozen drinks.

I just realized how lucky we were too. We have a 2 bedroom for 7/29 to 8/3. I called day by day last week and had no trouble getting it (the cm's said they were going fast). We did get the last 2 bedroom for our last night on 8/2.

We're so excited, we'll be there for our DS 7th birthday on the 31st.
