Yeah! Booked Standard view studio, VGF!

Glad I did not obsess more. Earlier this month I followed the progress of availability of SV and LV studios at VGF for December. The first booking day was always gone!

Then I realized that if VGF was going to be impossible, we have VWL as a backup home resort, so either way we would be happy. Well, except for the money we spent buying enough VGF for a few nights in December!

It worked out perfectly. I have 4 nights BWV, 3 nights VGF.

Just wanted to share my happy news! ( Since we have changed our AM FP +s for afternoon ones! it is very chilly here this morning in WDW!)

We also just bought enough points to stay at VGF in December. I was nervous the way things were booking in early December but availability seems to be much better for the weeks right before Christmas. I have read that the earlier weeks are generally more popular for DVC members and hope it stays that way as we can only go once my son is out of school for Christmas Break.

Yay!!!! I was following the exact same thing for December 4th. Every day was gone within minutes. I was nervous. I scored 2 studios!!

Get those rooms while you can....

VGF is only 30% sold-out. When the resort sells out, its going to really hard getting in past the 10 month mark.

10 months? I was on at 8 a.m. On the dot on my 11 month date and the studios were sold out within 13 minutes!!

Yeah...I have been monitoring availability over the past few months.

I keep hearing people tell me they are going to book VGF at 7 months. I tell them that they better do it in the next year or so. Once VGF nears selling out, you are going to need home resort priority for those studios.

We just added on another 100pts at VGF at NYE....we have 300 there now.

I am betting the dates just after Christmas until a couple/few days after New Years are going to be just as difficult to book as beginning of December since kids have school break then.
