Thanks to all of the great information on these boards... I was able to use the Disney Visa code and book a 4 night spring trip!

I am a DVC owner who has used all of her points for 2 rooms for a trip in December 2004. I was getting depressed about the long wait for a trip.

Then, out came the code! I was able to book a room and try a new resort!

Thanks to everyone here for the great information on Coronado Springs. The pool looks great and the theming should be fun for this Wisconsinite!

Now, I just have to tell my husband that we are going in May... Yes - I booked it without telling him. :)

You will absolutely love CSR!! I love the idea it's a surprize!! I know what you mean that Dec. is too long to wait for your Disney FIX!!!

Make sure you save some time to enjoy the resort. Where are you staying? The sight of the lights glimmering across the lake at night is absolutely breathtaking!!!

Have a magical trip. Please write us a report trip and let us know how much you loved the CSR.

CSR is a great resort with an awesome main pool area, terrific transportation and beautiful grounds. Walk around and see the fountains and courtyards of the casitas, escpecially at night when they are lit up. Very romantic

Have a great trip!

Buzz2001 -
It is mainly because of your site that I decided to give CSR a try. I wanted a slower paced Disney vacation this time. I have booked 4 nights, and only plan on doing the parks 2 days. The other days will be spent enjoying the resort and pool. So thanks for your information!

EmmasGrammy -
In December, I have 2 rooms booked. Both are at the Boardwalk Villas.

I booked a Boardwalk view studio for my family, and have booked a standard view studio (fewer points) for a family member. I am not sure who will be joining us yet... but I have it booked. Every other vacation, my sister or mother decides at the last minute they want to come and it becomes a pain getting another room.

We had a boardwalk view in December 2002 and it was wonderful! The view was great and my daughter (2.5 years old at the time) loved watching the fireworks from Illuminations every night. So, I had to spend the extra points and get that for us. For my family, I will treat them to a standard view - which will be lovely and the price will be right! :)

So - do I tell my husband when he comes home this evening from his business trip? Or do I wait until May and say "Pack a bag honey. I have a vacation planned!" ?

I'm so happy to know that I'm not the only one that does these things - booking ressies and THEN telling DH.....I also did that about getting our new puppy - put the deposit down and then told him......sounds bad, but I can always manage to "convince him"....

I'll be at CSR in a little over a week - for the first time and I'm very excited. I'll be sure to report back so you know what to look forward to!!!

Congrats - and way to go!!!!!!:Pinkbounc
