Yeah!! Almost crisis diverted!!

Ughh!! My DH and i have been having a very stressful couple of weeks recently with our business. I had been toying with the idea of canceling our upcoming trip to concentrate on work and my DH had been also but didn't want to disappoint kids. We were also less than 30 days away. Here is where the problem lied.

My DH came up with an idea today to solve it. He is going to stay home and work ( has to be done). I wouldn't be working that week anyways as kids are home from school the week of our trip. I am not ready to tackle a trip by myself with 2 boys 7 and 9. too busy and don't always like to ride same thing KWIM. My wonderful DH suggested i take my mom. I called her and she reluctantly agreed to go!!! Well, she didn't want to take away from DH. She felt better about it when i told her that it was his idea.

Getting excited about our trip again!!! Called MS this afternoon and all is set. changing the name was a piece of cake!! Now she gets to experience DVC with me earlier than planned!! Only bummer is DH doesn't get to stay at home resort til Oct if at all for quite awhile. He'll live as we have 2 more trips planned this year.

So glad everything worked out. I don't think Mom was that reluctant.
I'm right behind you. Can't wait. First DVC stay for my DS (10) and I.

Yeah, DH is a keeper but i did have to convince my mom that it was his idea. It really was, i hadn't really thought of it (yet)

I think she is excited but hates to leave her DH as he is getting older and whines when she's gone. I'll have to make it up to him for this!

OK...gosh, about her DH complaining when she's gone. I think my DH enjoys some alone time...I think we both do.

Again...I'm so glad that you're getting to go...and I hope that the work conditions straighten out to the extent that you and your DH can vacation together.
