We got the call at 8:30 maybe even earlier from vacation planning that we got our balcony seats for Fantasmic Feb 10th! They we so helpful , I would advise anyone staying on site to use them to get your reservation , I believe they get first crack at the tickets. Any other diser's going to be there?

YEA!!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: You'll really enjoy the show from the balcony. I did this just this past December and it was magical.

How exciting! I can't wait until DS's are old enough for us to spend the money on this. Have a great show!

Woooohoooo! The dessert buffet for F! is the only way we do it anymore, it's so worth it.

I would be scared to leave the reservations in someone else's hands, though (because I'm a control freak!). I would be afraid I wouldn't get them. We get every cell phone in the house and the regular phone, and all call at the same time when they open, LOL.

tracer, the first time we went (three years ago), my kids were 3 and 1. They had a blast. We were on the riverfront (I reccommend this for little kids) and were right up front, so they could see it all as close as possible and we could feel the heat from the fire, etc. They were mezmerized.

We did the balcony last time, and while if it were just dh and I, that would be my preference, I think the waterfront is more fun for little kids.

I wouldn't be able to keep my kiddo's up that late! They will either be zonked out in the strollers or we will already be back at the hotel room. I am amazed your 1 year old was able to hang that late. Thanks for the info though, maybe during our x-mas trip this year we can give it a shot. The boys will be 4 and 2 then. Better chance to get our money's worth!

My mom comes with us and takes the kids back for a long nap in the afternoon. Older ds had no problem staying up (even though he usually goes to bed at 8pm) and younger ds was used to waking up to nurse MANY (oh my, the lack of sleep!) times during the night to nurse.:lol

FTR, under two is free as I remember. But if they're going to be sleeping, yeah, wait till next time.

We took my 4yo, and 1yo to balcony seating when we went in Oct, and my 4yo loved it! He was so enthralled by it, he dropped his fork off the balcony.(my favorite story!) But my 1yo, she cried the WHOLE time. But she was free!

Congrats on booking that. I've heard it's awesome. My dd6 and ds3 are not old enough to appreciate it yet. I am one of those people that sits on a blanket for 4 hours to get front row center for my family while they go and play. They are spoiled and one time we tried to see it sitting further back and they complained. They like to stick their heads through the fence bars and feel the heat of the fire!!

I can't wait to do the balcony seating someday though. Maybe if I could sneak away with dh............dreaming again :rotfl:

I forgot. I do have a question about balcony seating. We have been there when the Santa Ana winds have canceled Fantasmic! a few times. Do you get your money back when this happens? Just curious.

And I fantasize about going to DL with just dh all the time. Then I think I would feel guilty about going without the kids...maybe not too guilty...hmmmm...:rotfl:

Monday (8th) the show was cancelled just minutes before it was to start. A CM told me that it is a very fickle show and gets cancelled often due to winds (and I think rain). We were disappointed but got to see it two more times.

Also the show was on at 7:30 M-W and at 7 on Thursday night if anyone has little kids. Mine are 4 and 2 and were awake for both but didn't want to see it the 2nd time. DH and i felt bad but we just HAD to see it a 2nd time.

You know if it was not for the dis board I would not even have known about this seating! I just hope the tickets don't have a price on them so DH does not pass out..........hey thats why I work too! Hopefully the weather will be our friends , such a strange year I don't know what to expect!

I know, I would feel strange asking my mom to watch the kids so dh and I could go to Disneyland alone!!!! Although that would be fun!!! Maybe guilt is overrated :rotfl:

Yes you do thank goodness! But if you just don't show up, then I believe you lose out. Which is why I would never do this on arrival day in case my flight was delayed.

Thanks!!! I've been there hundreds of times and have always wondered that but never asked!

How much does this cost? We are WDW vets and are going to Disneyland for the fist time in June for our honeymoon and this sounds like fun!!

I think they were $50 give or take a few bucks, two years ago. Maybe $55 now? And kids under two or three are free. It really made me feel extra special.

I recall the cast members asking me if I wanted more coffee by my last name, "Would you like more coffee, Mrs. AskTheChief?".
