today kind of sucked...nothing horrible happened or anything. but i'm just in a blah mood...

i really don't want to work anymore. i need to find a job where i can surf the internet and DIS all day long...oh, wait! i already have that job!! ok...i need to find one that will let me surf the net, DIS, and stay home all day long. and still pay me for it. oh...and give me a chance to watch all of my favorite shows that are only on during the day (wedding story, baby story, trading spaces reruns, my soaps)...think that job exists?

hope everyone has a good evening...i'm feeling another Sims night ahead of me. i've got one of the other gals here in my office hooked on the Sims. she went out and bought one since i talk about it all the time. but she's frustrated cuz her sim is all depressed and won't come out of it. it's cuz it's got no friends!!! she needs to create more sims!! i've created a monster...

i gotta finish up a few things here at work and then i'm off. have a good night!!

Hey cheerleaders. Sue and I ran through the lobby of the Dolphin on Sunday on our whirlwind tour of the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. In a little over 3 hours, we made it around the World Showcase twice. We had just gotten off the Disney Wonder after a way too short 3-day cruise. Since we had to wait until 3:30PM for our flight home, we decided to rent a car at the airport and head over to WDW for a quick visit. The Food & Wine festival was great fun, but soon we had to head back to the airport for the flight to Atlanta and then home. Our trip home took a bit of a detour. We were in an airplane trying to land in NE Ohio when the tornados hit on Sunday evening. Our plane was diverted to Pittsburgh where we spent the night. We had to take a two hour bus ride the next morning to get back to the Akron/Canton airport. We got home about 12 hours later than we planned. The storm flattened two houses just 5 blocks from our house. Fortunately no one in NE Ohio was hurt. Just a lot of property damage. The elementry school in the next town lost its roof and will be out of commission for the rest of the school year. Over 1300 students are going to have to find new classrooms.

BTW - DW Sue had never been to a casino, so we visited the Atlantis Casino on Paradise Island (Nassau). I put some money in the quarter slot machine. On Sue's third pull, she hit 7-7-7 and the machine paid out $75!!! Needless to say, she cashed out and we headed back to the ship. The weather was perfect. And the best part is that I'm heading back to WDW in just 18 days. What could be better?

I had a good time @ Disney, loved my first Super Soap Weekend! It was cool seeing those soap studs.

What did I miss here? Anything going on?

Oh and cross your fingers, I should have my computer online at home by mid week next week. I will have the $$ on Friday and the computer guy said he should be done with it by Tuesday!! I cant wait. So who will be staying up late with me????

Cookie- being bad may be fun but I think I'll try and stick w/ being good. I have enough troublemakers around me that somehow seem to put me in the middle of things or get me in trouble for stuff I knew nothing about (for example my tickets in PA when I had never been there).
Besides I've had too rough a night to have the energy for being bad. Some moronic, non-driving idiot hit my beautiful car that I love!I was sitting stopped at a stop sign waiting for my turn to merge into fairly heavy traffic at the end of the off ramp from the expressway and this jerk decided he had enough room to squeeze his tank-size car between me and the stop sign and proceeded to drag/scrape the side of his car across my fender and bumper. Then he tried to tell the officer taking the report that I tried to pass him and he was in front of me! Thankfully the officer is really good at accident reconstruction and could see from the damage and where the cars were positioned what really happened and a witnes stopped and gave me his business card in case I need any witnesses as to what really happened. But it still shook me up pretty bad and I just want to cry every time I look at my car.
Anyway that's my excitement for this week and now since my excitement from lasr week (the torn muscles and ligaments in my back/shoulder) are still killing me I'm off to take my pain meds. Ya'll have a good day and I'll talk to ya'll soon!

if you get the sims for someone...you have to make sure that the version you get is a "stand alone". there are all of these expansion packs out there but not all of them will play unless you have another version. i think that you would be safe with getting the new deluxe edition. i believe that one is a stand alone. and then to get your sims out and about, you can get the hot date and vacation packs...that's the only way to get your sims out of the house under your control...but a good starting point would be the deluxe edition. it comes with the expansion pack for livin' large already and i think that you can actually create a new sim from scratch instead of piecing one together with all of the heads and clothes and such that are pre designated in the game.

somehow, someway, i got matthew into 2 different malls AND super target last night after work! i'm not quite sure how i did it though...

we were in the disney store and they have some cool stuff out for christmas this year!! they have this HUGE belle doll. it's bigger than a normal 3 year old! and she talks!! and then they have this cute little dress up trunk. i think it came with little dresses for snow white, cinderella, and sleeping beauty, along with crowns and jewelry...it was so cute! it made me wish that i had a little girl to buy them for!! maybe next year...

i suppose i should do something work related around here...at least make myself look busy for a few minutes...

Thanks, Brandie, for the SIMS advice - I'll look into it. I'm always telling this chick she needs to get a life...lol...now she can build someone else's!! Hmmm...maybe I should get one for myself, too, while I'm at it.
