Bonnie (aka Lucy)'s version sounds more appetizing.

So be sure who made them, of course I was the only confused one as usual but thats because Bonnie calls herself LucyStorm and I thought she was a Lucy (that maybe is like wild) or sumpin, and the only Bonnie I knew was Bob's horse so naturally confusion sets in. BUT LucyStorm is actually a Bonnie who has 2 pets named Lucy and Storm....well THAT explains it

I wasn't confused until I read that.

I had an uneventful enough trip to Massachusetts...but the whole scene there makes me so depressed and edgy I end up cranky when I get home..........mad at DD cuz she got mad at ME for calling the parents of friend of a friend's boyfriend. The boyfriend of friend #1 , along w/friend #2, planned a surprise party for friend #1. The boyfriend of #1 does not live in town and DD is better friends with friend #2 than with the birthday girl. As well as me needing the details to approve transportation issues, she was miffed that I actually called the parents of the boy hosting the party, to be sure there were going to be adults present. I really don't know the parents of either friend #1 or #2 all that well, so I figured I'd go direct to the host parents to touch base. The mom was actually very nice and said "good for you for calling", but DD got on her "you don't trust me" and dagger-shooting-looks kick, til I finally told her that when she had teenagers of her own she could do what she darn well pleased for her own peace of mind and her kid's safety, but she'd better lay off me or she might not be going to the party at all. Then I got mad at DH because when I tried to draw him into the conversation (or the dirty-look exchanges between me and DD) he seemed exasperated with having his football-watching interrupted. GGGGGRRRRRR! SO no one DARED ask me what's for dinner...............which means that there IS nothing for dinner because I didn't plan anything while I was gone and of course no one else did either. So, DD grabbed McDonald's on the way to her ride for the party, DH is sitting upstairs watching football, afraid to ask me what's for dinner I'm sure, and I'm venting away to you people, hungry and cranky.
Thanks, I feel better already. Guess I better go grocery shopping now...anyone want anything?

OK, one bottle of wine (shared with DH) and dinner-made-by-DH (OK, it was a frozen shrimp & pasta primavera dinner, but I didn't prepare it )
I can now laugh too
after the whole "I'm sorry, I was cranky anyway", "I'm sorry, I was just watching the TV because I didn't want to say the wrong thing"
AND DD just called from the party to say "Sorry, you seemed mad when I left, and I just wanted to call and say I'm here and everythings OK but I can't have fun if you're mad at me, I love you and I'll call when we leave to come home".....

So I believe I will now have a couple of the final few bite-size trick or treat candies left in the freezer since the wine is gone...........and go see if DH has turned the TV back on or not .......

ACTUALLY... hanging out with the kids, had a great day of soccer, Best Buy, baseball, etc.... Ann out at some big lawyer/firm/company party, so SSB just hanging out watching "Shrek" on HBO now, as all asleep... haha! "Bonnie" the horse, is much closer to LBV... (part of Hyatt Grand Cypress' Equestrian Center... )
