I happen to like to take my chances with upper floors -- I enjoy a little view perspective. I always feel less private on the ground floor. In over a dozen SV YC trips, we've only had an ugly view once. Have given up worrying -- we just let the Disney spirits chose. And if you really hate the view -- ask to be moved when another room is available.
