Splurging for a quick trip for me and my husband - Yacht Club or Contemporary Resort? We usually stay at POR, so this is a treat. :) We have half day at resort (for pool), and a day at Epcot and day at Magic Kingdom.

Big Yacht Club fan. Not sure the main pool is adult friendly. There are quiet pools and you can use the Beach Club pools. Really like the Ale and Compass Lounge as well as the Crew's Cup (not currently open).

Contemporary is uninspiring although you cant beat the location.

I would do YC. Overall, I think it's a better resort. Relaxing vibe, beautiful pool, ability to stroll around the Boardwalk. CR is nice, but it's only draw, IMHO, is the proximity to MK. Otherwise, though I appreciate its place in WDW history, it feels like an airport terminal to me.

I haven't stayed at either one, but I would choose YC. I love to stroll back to the resort after a fun day at Epcot. :-)

CR just doesn't feel homey to me. It always seems so busy. I would like the "quietness" of YC.

CR is my favorite resort overall, but I would also choose YC for its proximity to the parks, great food, great pool and quiet.

I enjoy the CR. The rooms are much more spacious than the Epcot resort rooms. I love that the bulls eye pool is so close to the 7 Seas Lagoon. I found it very relaxing. The Beach and Yacht are great resorts, too. The pool is a lot busier there if it makes a difference. The lazy river at night is my favorite thing about the pool.

I've never stayed at CR, but I love and adore YC, especially for an adults only trip. It's a beautiful resort and you can't beat the location. Lots of fantastic dining within walking distance, which is a huge perk!

Stayed at YC a dozen times. Best pool at Disney. Close at Epcot, boardwalk, HS if you did an afternoon or nite hopper. You can also do an Epcot nite hopper after MK day. Take the monorail back from MK after your done. Just a thought! Ale and Compass have been getting great reviews over the pandemic. We have eaten there twice. Pretty good atmosphere

YC is wonderful. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in 2019 as a treat after traveling to Florida for a wedding. ( How could we be in Florida and not make a stop? ). Yacht Club was such a treat. Large rooms with a beautiful bathroom. We loved having a balcony. The pool is amazing and you have a lot more dining options at YC vs. CR because of Boardwalk/Swan and Dolphin.

The only con we had was that it can be a lllooonnnngggg walk to the room. If that matters to you, request a room close to the lobby ( but those most likely won't be water views ).

The Yacht Club's pool is 10X better than the Contemporary's pool. Stay at Yacht Club this trip. They're equals in terms of park access as the monorail to Epcot isn't currently running and won't be for the foreseeable future. So both resorts are walkable to one park, with bus access to the other.

Can't wait for the pool!!
