YC - Lazy River Question

I am wondering the process for getting a tube for the lazy river at the YC/BC? Are these difficult to get? Any tips/suggestions on this would be helpful. THANKS!

You see a tube...you grab it. We've never had a problem getting one over 6 stays at YC/BC.

My trips have been in July and August and even in the busy summer months, it has been easy to find a tube that is not being used.

Used to be (several years ago) that you had to pay to rent a tube (single or double) from the rental stand. A few years ago the powers that be decided to just let the tubes float all day in the pool and people could take them when they want. It has worked out just fine. We stay every summer for a full week at least & never have had a problem getting a tube.

I will say though, that we always bring pool noodles as we tend to prefer them.

I prefer the pool noodles too! We bring our own. But you may be able to buy them in the resort shop.

We pack our own pool noodles too, then leave them there for another family (thus saving room for souvenirs in our suitcase). I find the noodles easier to 'navigate'. Sometimes I find it awkward getting settled into a tube (but maybe that's just me and being a klutz sometimes ? Teenage DD's never have trouble finding a tube to use.

Stayed there during July 4th week last year and didn't have any problem getting a tube. Because Stormalong Bay is Magic Band access only for YC/BC guests , it is not overcrowded, so getting a tube isn't a problem. Just grab one of the many floating around.

We also leave them. Our last day after we're done I look for parents with kids to leave them with. But a couple of years ago on Amazon I found inflatable noodles!! Brand was Intex. Came in 2 pack.
On lazy river in August I prefer to be submerged rather then laying on top of a tube. I wish they allowed noodles at the water parks lazy rivers and the pool at BB. Either that or at the BB pool have an organized tube return. It's ridiculous trying to get a tube there.

I never heard of them either until a friend got them! We go to Ft Lauderdale first and usually pick up noodles there from Home Depot, we like the fat noodles and use then in the ocean before Wdw. Last year was the first time using the inflatables, worked fine. I should look for them and stick them in the suitcase now!
