YC experts help please! Standard room request suggestions

I was successful in getting the AP rate at the YC for 8 nights on our Nov 17 trip to the World. The ressie is for a Standard room. I have stayed at the YC before but haven't tried making a request for a specific standard room type. What I would like to do is avoid the parking lot view. Other than requesting " No parking lot view please", does anyone know the ropes on requests at YC? Besides the front lot, what other areas are standard view? Since we expect the parks to be very busy with the Thanksgiving holiday, we will likely spend more time enjoying the resort. Thanks for any advice!

We stayed at YC with standard view once and we were on the side facing the quiet pool, except our room looked out onto landscaping. About 2 doors down from us the rooms actually faced the pool, so I'm guessing they were waterview. It was a lovely view and location for us!

If you don't like night noise, request that you not be placed above the front entrance--or below the club lounge. Ask for a nice garden view.

We had a standard room at YC with a lovely view of the Wedding Gazebo and gardens. I guess I would request along those lines.

You might also request to be away from the elevator as the bell can clearly be heard in the rooms closest to them (especially when trying to sleep).

We just got back from a standard view room at YC. It was room 4150, overlooking the wedding gazebo. There was also a partial view of the Boardwalk area from the balcony. We were very pleased with it.
